Special Thanks:

Please join us in our well wishes for the McDonald family. As many of you know, Molly will be leaving NC to embark on a new and exciting journey in Arizona.

Molly has been a strong force in not only in Community Yoga since our early days, but also in the surrounding area of the YMCA, her school and local charities. Anyone who knows her, knows the light that shines through her smile, eyes and heart. Even though we feel a great loss in her leaving us, We are thrilled for their upcoming adventure. She will be a great gift to her new yoga community.

Molly, we will miss you.

Come to say good bye to Molly on Friday September 17th. She will be teaching 2 classes a 8 (gentle) and a 9:45(Hatha) on this day.

Charlotte Community School for Girls

Community Yoga has chosen the Charlotte Community School for Girls to be our  main SEVA focus for 2010.  Visit their website to learn more.   Charlotte Community School for Girls is a school where 5th-8th grade girls from low-income families are challenged to dream, plan, and transform dreams into realities.

Our teachers have taught workshops to benefit the school, and we will also be going down to their school to teach once a month. We are looking forward to hosting them all up here at our studio in November.

Our Mission:

Community Yoga was formed in December 2004 with a vision to create a place where people from all backgrounds will gather and celebrate as a community.

Our goal is to produce an environment where all are welcome and where they can come for the "stretch" and leave with much more. Classes are open to students of all levels.
